ABOUT US
Mosques are the heart of the Islamic life. They serve for prayers, for events during Islam's holiest month Ramadan, as centres for education and information, places for social welfare, and also for dispute settlement.
The imam is the religious leader of the mosque and the person who leads the prayers.
OUR VISION
Ghausia Masjid Institute believes in following and teaching the religion of Islam, according to the values found in the Quran and the Sunnah (practice of the Prophet Muhammad), based upon the understanding and methodology of the early generations of Muslims.
WHAT WE DO
We are open daily for all five prayers.
There are also daily classes for children to learn the Quran, about Islam and the Hadith. There is a weekly Zikr gathering that all brothers are welcome too.
There are separate functions organised by the sisters of the community
OUR COMMUNITY
We are here to serve the local muslim community and therefore, rely on the donations from our congregants.
This masjid does not receive any funding from any other country or institute. If you would like to donate to the masjid, please speak to one of the committee members.
